Accessorizing the Bump
A growing baby bump, while wonderful and adorable and absolutely amazing, is also a test in confidence and body love. For the most part I've really enjoyed this process and I think part of that has been investing in a mini maternity wardrobe. These pieces have allowed me to get dressed each morning with minimal stress. Seriously, it's awesome that there are so many cute maternity friendly options out there.
The majority of this mini wardrobe is made up of easy to layer basics that I can easily dress up for work or down on the weekend with a few accessory swaps. And the best thing about accessories is that I'll be able to keep wearing them long after Baby K makes her arrival. So when I feel a little shopping spell coming on, that's where I've tried to focus my energy.
Fashion blogger I may not regularly be, but I've seriously had so much fun dressing the bump that I wanted to share a few of the things that've been helping me feel my best despite the rapidly changing waistline.
Cute jackets and flair
I could not be happier that jean jackets are a thing again. What's even better? Adding fun pins and patches is totally cool again too.
I totally fell in love with this bag on Instagram. (Actually I feel like I do a lot of my shopping through Instagram these days.) If you too have your eye on a Cult Gaia bag, just keep an eye on their website for preorder availability.
Thank you to Karmen Osei for snapping these :-).
