Cheers to Mom!
These beautiful blush drinks are the perfect refresher to round out a mothers day brunch or lunch. And munchkins can enjoy too, just don't add the vodka!
To make these you'll need ...
• a batch of rhubarb simple syrup (I only had three cups rhubarb so I used 3/4 cups each sugar and water) • a batch of lavender lemonade. • vodka • sparkling water • your choice of garnishes (optional)
To make the drinks, fill a few pretty glasses with ice and spoon in some of the simple syrup (3-4 tablespoons depending on how sweet you like it), then add 1.5 oz. vodka. Next I fill the glasses a little bit more than 3/4 of the way full with the lavender lemonade and finish by topping the whole thing with some sparkling water for some sparkle. Garnish with a slice of lemon and mint like I did, or maybe try some more lavender, a whole rhubarb stalk or anything else green. All would totally work.
